Often thought to be ancient history, like their amazing temples, the Mayan people are thriving in the Yucatan. This trip explores not only their incredible past, but visits with local Mayan families and experiencing their enterprising protection of local wildlife, to discover the modern Mayan way of life. 

While it is hard to bypass the stunning Chichén Itzá and Tulum, we wanted to get off the beaten track and explore deeper into this fascinating region. Cobá is a set of ruins hidden deep in the jungle that is not on the main tourist track and the utterly jaw-dropping Siaan Ka'an is another less-visited wonder that we are desperate to show to our customers. 

Cancun Airport is your arrival spot for this tour. We will pick you up from the airport and take you to Chichén Itzá to meet your guide and group for the week. After exploring Chichén Itzá we will head to the colonial town of Valladolid before visiting the second major site in the region in the stunning Tulum. Using Tulum as a base, we explore the rich wilderness in the area before returning you to Playa del Carmen to finish up the tour.

Availability
